If you are not where you want to be in your Herbalife
Business, then you are not doing the daily basic disciplines.
If you wanted to be a doctor or lawyer, then you would need to
attend the lectures every day, study every day and pass all the
exams. After seven years you would be qualified. (If you
passed)
Now the same applies to Herbalife. There are some basics
that you need to be doing each and every day and I will list
them. If you are not doing all the basics, then you will not
succeed in your Herbalife Career. So many distributors join
Herbalife and then don't concentrate on the basics.
If you do not master the basic skills that are imperative to
your success, then you will not move to the next level in the
business.
Before you start to master these skills, you need to know
what it is that you want from your Herbalife business.
Herbalife's goals are in place. We will reach the 5 billion
dollar turnover annually within the next few years.
So what are your goals? For you and your Family?
What are your goals for Herbalife? Where do you want to be? GET
TEAM, MILL TEAM OR PRES TEAM?
Write your goals down and how you plan to achieve them.

BASIC HERBALIFE
STEPS.
Step 1: USE THE
PRODUCTS & PACKAGE YOUR STORY
Be serious about using the products.
Take the products every day, 3 times a day. You cannot do
"Herbalife" unless you believe in the products. The reason that
Herbalife is so successful is because of these incredible
products. The "Wellness industry" is set to explode within the
next few years - predicted to be a trillion dollar Industry
within the next few years. Take a before and after photograph
of yourself and all of your clients and let people see the
Herbalife Difference. Package your story. Have your mentor
assist you or for some tips.
Step 2: DETERMINE YOUR STARTING
POINT
Decide if you are happy to stay at 25% for the time being.
Now that you understand the marketing plan, would you prefer to
get 30% now? Or are you going to go for the maximum return on
the smallest investment and become a success builder? Or have
you seen the Herbalife dream and have you decided to become a
Supervisor? This all
depends on whether you are a Business Builder, a Volume
Producer A or B or a Consumer. Go over this with your mentor.
This is important.
Step 3. GET STOCK ON HAND & RETAIL THE
PRODUCTS
You have an emotional tie to Herbalife as a result of
getting other people on the products. When someone loses
20 kilo's, or has a dramatic result on the product, you know
you have affected that persons' life. You then have a deep
conviction in these incredible products. But y ou cannot
promote something that you do not have! When someone sees the
results, and they say that they want the products, you need to
have it on hand to give to them! Imagine opening a shoe shop,
advertising like crazy and then having people arrive – but you
have no shoes on the shelf! Put a plan together to make a
minimum of 1 sale a day! Sit together with your sponsor at this
point and they will assist you with a 90 day plan for
retail.
4. GET TO A SUCCESS TRAINING SEMINAR
ASAP
No business succeeds without help and guidance! Herbalife
has a formalised training seminar (to be attended as often as
possible, minimum one per month) designed to get you all the
basic information! It is here that you will learn about the
products, the marketing plan, how to retail and how to recruit!
Essential for you, but also essential for you to get your new
distributors to attend so that they can get proper, effective
basic training! Find out where the training is in your area!

5. EXPOSE THE BUSINESS
Advertise the fact that you are in business. Be proud of
being Herbalife Distributor. Wear a button on your lapel.
Always carry business cards or flyers. Wear a Herbalife cap.
Take your tablet box everywhere. Mix shakes in public. Give
people the opportunity of asking about the products and the
business. Have a great attitude always.
6. RECRUIT DISTRIBUTORS
Always be ready to present the opportunity to other people.
Be it by website, business cards, faxes, ads, flyers or any
other method. Have a look at our marketing tools link. You need
to constantly get people into the business. Mark Hughes tells
how he recruited 197 people in his first 6 months, got 16 of
them to the supervisor level, and wound up building the entire
$2 Billion company under only 6-8 supervisors. So you do
not need a huge organisation to get to the president's
team. You only need a few committed and serious
distributors who have their goals in place and a plan to
succeed. To find your serious distributors, you will need to
consistently recruit new people into your business. If you are
a Business Builder, put a plan together to recruit a minimum of
10 new distributors a month! Sit together with your sponsor at
this point, and they will assist you with a 90 day plan for
recruiting.
7. TRAIN YOUR
DISTRIBUTORS.
You do not have to be an incredible trainer and an excellent
speaker. You just train people by showing them what you were
told to do and what you are doing. This is a business of
duplication. Once you have a product result (success on the
products) you tell people how you achieved that. Once you have
packaged your story successfully, show them how to package
their story etc. When you get a cheque from Herbalife, you tell
your team how you did that. Attend as many STS as you can and
inspire your distributors to do the same.
8. COMMUNICATION.
a)Listen to Touchfon everyday. While you listen, take notes.
Herbalife (Corporate) send out info of promotions and of
forthcoming events, trainings etc. It becomes ridiculous having
to answer 10 phone calls all asking about when such-&-such
will be happening when this information is given to
everyone.
It is a great way for your upline to send info to the group
and for you to start doing it for your group.
b) Ask Herbalife Corporate to put you on their email stream
and also ask your Tab upline to do the same. This, too will
keep you in touch with the necessary information you do need.
Information you may want to pass onto your team.
9. SPEND AT LEAST 30 MINUTES A DAY
WORKING ON YOUR SELF
This is probably one of the most important aspects of our
business and one that is most often overlooked. You need to
read the books that can affect your thinking and ideas. The
generous marketing plan and the great products are the same for
every body. The only variable here is YOU. Subscribe to the Jim
Rohn weekly e-zine. Personal growth does not have to cost a
fortune – libraries are full of inspirational books - and they
are free!
If you can just implement these daily disciplines
you will succeed, not only in life but also in your Herbalife
business.
