Some streams are linear and some are residual. Your answer to the following question tells you whether your present income streams are linear or residual: “How many times do you get paid for every hour you work?”
If you answered, “Only once”, then your income is linear. Income streams from a salary are linear. You get paid only once for your effort.

They are still being paid for work they have already done. Many professional people do not enjoy the power of residual income either. They may appear to be rich, but they are on a treadmill just like many others. They only get paid when they work.

What percentage of your income is residual?
