Paypal CoroNet websites are currently incorporating paypal into their order forms as an optional extra method of accepting payments for advertising overseas. You now have the option (at the moment only on Site 3 which has an IBP order form), to allow people who are ordering IBP's on your website, to pay for the IBP using Paypal. Although South African residents are able to open a PayPal account, at the moment you can only send payments and not receive payments. They say they are continuing to research how best to expand its offering in South Africa so hopefully this will happen in the near future. So unless you have a bank account in another country which does allow you to have a paypal account where you can receive payments, do not use this option. We have chosen to add on Paypal as an extra payment option as it is one of the most common forms of payment in the UK and in other countries. As many of you in SA are recruiting people abroad, we hope to be able to offer your new SA recruits a full system to use in the UK in the near future where they can accept payment by paypal. Some CoroNet Members that go on working holidays in the UK have requested that we add this option. PayPal is an instant and secure online payment service which has no monthly charges. They just take a % off the amount they process for you. This is a very economical way to accept credit card payments online without a merchant account. People can pay via paypal with a credit card or via their paypal account but they don't have to have a paypal account in order to pay you. When someone chooses to pay using using PayPal on your website, customers who are new to PayPal are not required to create a PayPal account to complete a purchase.
